Filed a complaint with the state dental board
This man is vile and takes advantage of folks in vulnerable situations. He accuses folks of being pill seekers and had me hold the saliva sucker, instead of a dental assistant. During the entire duration of my x-rays he was on the phone talking about an accident. Furthermore, He provided no dental advice or consultation for any dental procedure. He just kept asking what I wanted done…like I’m a dentist? I had 7 shots of novacaine for 1 tooth. Never in my life before has it taken that many. And when he directly hit a nerve and I winced, he said “people who yell are often looking for pills”. He left the room, leaving me unclear as to what would happen next for 40 minutes. Then a nurse was sent in to ask me if I wanted to get anything done today…I cannot believe this man is a certified dentist. To file a complaint, look up “TN board of dentistry file a complaint”. His license should be revoked.

Stay away. Terrible place.
The only reason this place is still in business, is because its cheap and he rushes his clients through in order to get more clients in period. EVERYONE is rushing around in chaos, dr is rough, secretary is as rude as they come. You can tell she is entitled and has been spoiled her entire life.

Do NOT GO HERE.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not… and I repeat do not go to Dr Warren Stinson in Jefferson City. He is the closest emergency dental clinic to Kingsport that I was aware of. He pulled my tooth (the one that was damaged from the wreck) and when he did, he put an additional hairline fracture in my jaw. He also treated me like a dog. He told me he would give me laughing gas to calm my nerves, and when I started breathing it in, he said “go ahead, keep breathing and make yourself sick since you can’t handle it without the gas like a baby.”He gave me 9 SHOTS and I felt every single one. He was in my room a total of 3.5 minutes. He pulled the tooth before I was numb and I felt every bit of it. His nurses are not kind. They are SO rude and truly need to be reported. People come here because they need help and because they are in pain, it does not help to walk into a facility and all of the workers act like they hate their jobs. Plus they make rude comments during the procedure.

Worst dds in Tennessee
We went here based on someone’s referral. Awful place, don’t go, stay away …. Dentist is just there to make money and doesn’t care how he is hurting his clients …he was removing two of my wife’s teeth and numbed one side but not the other, when she tapped for them to stop as she could feel everything, he just continued. When I went to pay the lady at the front desk, I asked her what happened and she said I don’t know what happened I don’t work back there, and was very rude. I requested to speak to the dentist and he said my wife was crazy and he should press charges. He had zero care or empathy for what he did and simply stated, “He was going back to make money not help people”. She came out crying telling me how awful her experience was and how he wouldn’t even listen when she had said she could feel what he was doing . If I could give this place no stars I would! As a dentist you should take responsibility! No one likes to go to the dentist already,

Bone issues in gum
Initial visit was to have a painful wisdom tooth extracted. Below the tooth on the in side of the gum I had something sharp poking me. The extraction was awesome but when he was done I asked him to look at what was poking me. He said it was bone so he drilled it I was numb so I thought it was good. When the numb wore off the bone was like broken glass and had damaged the underside of my gum. I called him he was gracious and had me come in after hours to help me. His assistant was another story. I was in terrible pain and he told her to see if I needed something for pain. She barked saying that would be a yes or no like I was some idiot. She placed the napkin around my neck and slammed the suction thing on my chest. Pushed the instrument pinching my lip, ripped the napkin off pulling my hair then when I was finished she said you're done you can leave now and walked away. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. That's enough to cause suicide or assault had I been different.

Very professional
I've been to him other times in the past and I went there for removal of teeth that I had problems with. He numbs everything around the tooth or teeth that you wanted removed. He removes the one(s) you asked him to remove and he stitches it up afterwards. I would highly recommend him for tooth removal. There's no extra office visit to go see an oral surgeon.

I got my wisdom extracted on Thursday he did pretty well. He just goes and does the job he’s not there to sugar coat your teeth or trying to be your best friend unlike the other reviews. He did made me laugh a little during the procedure and making sure I was ok.

So I'm going thru some really bad dental issues due to acid reflux and erosion and after going to my dentist and wasting an entire year of insurance for work, all that work began falling out or breaking. 2 teeth began hurting. Worst pain imaginable. I called the office which was closed but did get his cell number off the recording. He told me to meet him at his office at 11:30pm that night. I went and he did all the office work himself and then he pulled those 2 teeth. We joked around before he numbed me up and kept checking to see if and when the shots took effect. He was able to get one tooth that had broken into splinters from acid damage and I felt nothing. He's great for an emergency and will come in at all hours no matter what to help a patient. Great Job Dr.Stinson. Lucky for me he was willing to see me after hours and if you need more than local shots to pull a tooth ,then you're not going to like him unless it's a planned visit because he gets you in and out asap.

Quick and painless
Thought I was going to need a tooth cut and he was able to pull it without needing to do so. I've had a tooth drilled out here and i could not imagine having to go anywhere else. He's a busy man seeing multiple patients at once. Doesn't not have time to kiss everyone on the forehead and console their little hearts. If you want a quick and painless tooth pulled, go here.

Very traumatic
I went to get a tooth pulled, I was visibly scared, he was very rude. He started giving me shots, without using the numbing gel on my gums first. I told my daughter that I was so scared I felt faint and if I waved at her, I was in trouble! He proceeded to pull the tooth but I wasn't completely numb so I screamed a little. He acted mad and just started giving me more shots, but he wasn't giving the medicine time to take effect. I was in so much pain, I waved at my daughter to have him stop. He refused and told her she could leave if she wasn't happy with him! He finally freed my molar with me crying.. we oaid and left. A half hour later, the medicine finally took full effect and the 9 shots he gave me numbed all the way down my neck, I felt like I couldn't breathe! I was choking on my spit and blood so my daughter pulled into a gas station and called an ambulance! He's lucky I don't sue him! Don't ever go to this dentist.

Just DON'T
I drove 2 hours to get there and stayed overnight bc he told me to be there at 6 pm (he wasn't there). I showed up the next morning and they took in the first 5 people there (I was first) he comes in my room doesn't explain anything and starts jabbing me with needles. Then comes and tells me if I want a root canal I will be there ALL day (he wanted to extract my tooth!). I immediately asked what I owed and left, but not before Carolyn cussed first my fiancée then me. Worst "treatment" I've ever received ANY where. It's a grossly manipulating environment. My root canal at a REAL endodontist took 1 hour and 15 minutes (NOT all day). They are cheep bc there ethics and morals are cheep as well. Thank God I left WITH my tooth!!

a very awesome dentist!
Dr Stintson and his assistant performed a root canal and a crown for me, the workman ship is such that no one knows that I have lost a tooth. its incredible he was gentle and quick! and was reasonably priced for the work that was done, it was nearly painless too! I have my whole family going their now and recommend him to stop both teeth and wallets from hurting!
