I was not allowed to accompany my 12 year old while he was taken in to have a cavity filled. The staff is very rude but the dentist is even ruder. She never explained what she was going to be doing to my child. She kept telling me that she has studied child psychology and dental appointments and that parents make things worse. She said I could only accompany him if I kept my mouth shut and make a locking motion on her lips. I did not feel comfortable letting them do a dental procedure on my child that was never explained to me and that I was not allowed to be present. The office was also very dirty. We left without having the procedure. It is very inappropriate for anyone, especially someone in a medical profession to not allow the parents to accompany there child when they are taken into a private office.
