Dr. Vandan Desai, DDS

He is my go to dentist. He is honest, whether you are ready to hear it or not. He is skilled and efficient! I love Dr. Desai!

Dr. Desai billed my insurance for services that were not performed. This left me with a costly bill. When speaking the the dental office there was nothing I could do but try to resolve with him, he personally called me and was extremely condescending, arrogantly touting his experience and prestige in this field - ultimately denying he ever billed anything incorrectly. I would avoid Dr. Desai if possible to save you the risk of his questionable billing practices.

Dr. Desai helped my daughter so much. As a parent of special needs, it is hard to find the right dentist for her, he is professional and so great at his job. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Desai is incredible, he is comprehensive and explains everything well. He takes time with you. Highly recommend this dentist!

I went in for a root canal. Dr. Desai took X-rays and confirmed I needed a root canal. He started drilling my tooth. Half way through it he told me I needed an implant. I had half a tooth left and was left with no choice but to pay for a 3,500 implant. After I went back to the dentist office in Boerne, I learned the doctor was no longer affiliated with the office, presumably because he was prescribing unnecessary treatments for patients. I will never go back to him.

Dr. Desai left my daughter with a potential jaw bone infection after her wisdom tooth extraction because HE FORGOT to prescribe her antibiotics AND antiseptic mouthwash. It has been a royal nightmare to say the least. I DO NOT recommend!

Dr. Desai is amazing!!! He is competent and very kind. He is also funny, which makes a dental visit more fun than stressful!

Dr. Desai was the only person I would feel comfortable going back to. I have seen my share of dentists throughout the years and finally found the right doc for me. I would recommend him for fillings, crowns and implants for sure. My experience was nothing but positive. Thank you Dr. Desai for also seeing me on such a short notice!

I did not have the best experience with Dr. Desai, I was seen an hour and a half after my scheduled time, now close to closing time, the doctor was in and out my room juggling other patients and when he finally came back to my room he was rushing to get three fillings done. He had a new assistant in the room with him who did not have the experience, he spilt the material all in my mouth, around my lips, and chin. The material caused itching, burning, and swelling on my skin. I'm not going back.
