Dr. Valerie Foster, DMD

I would not recommend Dr. Foster. Although I saw her for about 12-13 years (I forget when I started seeing her) for general routine care, I changed dentists this year. Dr. Foster performed an incomplete root canal on my tooth in 2018. I had to get a second root canal on the same tooth to correct prolonged issue and an ongoing infection. I saw an endodontist, who had the right equipment. He easily showed me where Dr. Foster made a mistake in the root canal and easily corrected it because: a) he knew what he was doing; b) he had the right equipment to diagnose. Dr. Foster didn't have the expertise in doing root canals and needed to refer me. She says she did, but she didn't. I asked for a partial refund in good faith. She has denied this to me and has essentially been demeaning to me as a result. There was no apology for faulty work. I don't recommend her.

This ranks with a 1 star only because I can't write a review with zero stars. The bait and switch tactics are horrendous. My wife needed a crown. This office contacted our insurance company THREE TIMES and were told every time that it wasn't covered. Didn't matter - the office still pretended that it was covered and told us so. It wasn't until after the crown was placed that they suddenly came up with "Oh, by the way, that wasn't covered". Shame on us for not contacting our insurance directly. But when we even questioned the office's culpability in the whole mess the dentist started threatening to call her attorney, send us to collections and all manner of other browbeating tactics. Oh yeah, and the first statement they sent already had interest charges tacked onto it. They sent a "Final Notice" only 30 days after the first statement. If you're looking for a dentist, don't walk away from this one. Run. As fast as you can.

Everyone is so great and friendly. They truly care about my dental health and my overall health as well. A great office staff and excellent assistants and hygienist. It is easy to schedule and to change an appointment when it is necessary.

All ways great! Staff is great! Dr Foster is great! The only thing is by the end of the day the wait to see the Dr can take 30 mins or more, does does apologize. But still can be frustrating. I will never change, Dr Foster's office are the best!
