Dr. Trista Onesti, DDS

She should not be caring for children she picks and chooses who gets empathy and who she's cold with. She told me IN FRONT of my son, If she pulled his tooth I would need to hold him down because its going to hurt!! He has had his teeth pulled before and never has any Dentist said anything like this scaring my child. We left immediately and found an amazing Dentist that doesn't get off on seeing kids on pain!

Trista was rude and condescending at best. She was adamant my child went downtown to have students at the school perform a root canal on my 12 year old. Horrified by the way she conducted herself I got a second opinion AND had the tooth repaired without a root canal (out of pocket I might add). She should not be working in dentistry. I've reported her to the insurance company where she wrote a response in which she lied. I will, of course, be responding with the updated information.

We were refused services while my son was in an exam chair about to have nitrous oxide administered. At check-in that morning I explained that our last payment to their office a month before was denied by the Flexible Spending Account because the payment they demanded did not match their documentation. During this conversation my son was called back to begin his appointment, and I told the front desk we would settle up after his appointment. My son was in the chair and tools were being readied when Diane from the front desk came back and said we should reschedule if I wasn't going to pay, and it would be $80 today. I reminded her I was intending to pay after the appointment, and if she would furnish a detailed receipt. She left the room and came back with Dr. Trista Onesti who refused care for my son. I submitted a complaint to insurance who agreed the doctor owes us money. She has not paid up. This is not someone who truly cares for her patients.

The office was great, until we needed documentation for our HSA company and supplemental insurance. The office staff said the doctor is the ONLY PERSON who can do a printout of your account. The doctor laughed when I asked her and said she was too busy and would get it the next day. That was 3 weeks ago. I have since called multiple times requesting the same documentation. We ended up using the documentation that we received from insurance processing their claim because that part they did timely. We will NEVER return and I had high hopes since she was rated to be a great dentist in the area. Skills are nothing without organization and cohesiveness in the practice. There is definitely a lack of organization and delegation in the office and an overall disregard for the needs beyond what brings them money.

This week of July 27th the front desk will answer and put you on hold and make you wait 20mins and not come back! Very rude and unprofessional! I have been coming for years taking my kids and this week i am fed up! Dr Trista should be ashamed! I called emergency line and left multiple messages and my husband called same thing! We are done and tired of dealing with Diane at the front desk too! So degrading asking for payments before the appointment and always gives the wrong information on the phone with Insurance! Sad but we will not return!

Disappointment waiting to happen. Dr. Trista over bill insurance companies for unnecessary procedures for children teeth. She told my 9 year old that his teeth was nasty and needed a deep cleaning which he didn’t. They don’t value people time and make up excuses to cancel appointments that didn’t seem to make her a lot of money. At first she seem nice but then she tells you your child needs tons of work done that they don’t need. She is only money motivated. They have you wait for long times for appointments and doesn’t care about your time. I had the worst experience. They canceled my daughter’s appointment after already having to reschedule for communication issues and wrote a letter to me saying I wanted it cancelled. Unbelievable!!!

They are extremely unorganized and treat you like a child. From the onset there was nothing but issues, and just the initial appointment required them to call me 5 times to ask things they forgot to ask when setting the appointment. The staff is very rude, and unwilling to work with you if you have multiple children. With how many dentists there are, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I am so glad we found Dr. Trista for our granddaughter. The entire staff is very professional but with a clear understanding of children. I watched with amazement as every step of the process was explained at a level a 7 yr old could understand. My granddaughter has no fear of the dentist and her teeth are in so much better condition than when we first started here. The office is well run and gives ample reminders of the appointment date & time. Kids love the waiting area but complain because they don’t get to spend much time there. I recommend Dr. Trista to everyone. At the first exam we disagreed over whether a tooth had to be extracted. She agreed to consider the cap I wanted but stressed that she had to act in the best interests of my granddaughter’s health. In the end she saved the tooth and has been taking care of my granddaughter’s dental care ever since.

I have been bringing my kids for the past couple of years. Everyone is so friendly and Dr. Trista is the best!

My son had a tooth that needed immediate attention. Dr Trista and her team got him in to been seen right away and took care of his tooth and made us feel at ease.

Dr Onesti's practice is aimed at the kids. It is set up for their comfort and the staff is very compassionate. They talk to the kids, and that makes them feel important. The staff is always greeting patrons with greetings and smiles. My kids look forward to seeing Dr Onesti and her staff. I have never had an issue with scheduling an appointment, and they are punctual with our time. I recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

Dr. Onesti is a kind and caring dentist. She is very professional and my children feel safe and secure in her office. I would highly recommend her to anyone with children!

Dr. Trista is so amazing! With just a little bit of laughing gas, she was able to pull my child’s teeth for braces. Highly recommend!

Dr. Trista Onesti is an excellent dentist. She has a huge heart and compassion for my children. They feel safe and secure in her office. I would highly recommend her to anyone with children!

Dr. Trista is very knowledgeable and friendly. My three year old was very apprehensive of having anyone look in her mouth. Dr Trista put her at ease by explaining everything she will be doing. She was even able to take x-rays of her teeth. She has a wonderful bedside manner. Our whole family was greeted by a very friendly staff with smiles and hellos. We were called back for our appointment almost as soon as we checked in. I recommend her to my friends.

Super caring dentist! My kids have been known to be a handful. The entire staff acted like it was no big deal. Everyone was patient with them-we even made it through getting xrays. Dr. Trista answered all my questions-and I had a lot!
