I had some cavities I needed filled and wanted to use up insurance dental benefits that would expire. I now live near Seattle but my current dentist had no openings before the year?s end. I made an appt. with Dr. Coulter, who took over my childhood Dr. Wendel's practice. I expressly stated I didn't want to go over what insurance would pay in making the appt. and when I was seen. Still, I was billed over. In a large cavity I still had sensitivity the following year and ended up needing it redone.
