Opportunistic, 'Proactive', Expensive
At the start of 2023, Dr. Tina Liang's company (Dental Arts of Cromwell) took over the dental practice my 80-year-old had been going to for many years.Dr. Liang talked my mom into a root canal when my mom requested the tooth to be pulled for financial reasons. This bill was nearly $4000.She did not tell my mom that there was a lot more work be needed, which would have made my mom more insistent pulling. When my mom needed a sign off for surgery, Dr. Liang told her (and me) that there were three root canals, 4 caps and an extraction (#13 that had been repaired in February and damaged during the root canal) required before she would sign off the surgery papers. Over 13K of additional charges. And, in talking with Dr. Liang, she told me directly there was more work to be done.I took Mom to another dentist. The dentist did a full exam and x-rays. The only thing necessary was the extraction of #13.Pretty sad when any type of professional takes advantage of older people.

I finally found a dentist who my children love. My boys would get very nervous whenever I speak about going to the dentist. Seeing Dr. Tina Liang talking at eye level with my boys making them laugh was a miracle. She has great people skills and experience which helps make the actual dental work quick and easy. She shows them what each tool is used for and explains what she was going to do and why. Now, the boys would ask for Dr. Tina Liang whenever we mention going to the dentist. As a mother, it is a wonderful feeling to know that I do not need to bribe or force my children to do something they do not want to do. The kids will ask me when are we going to see Dr. Tina again.

I actually enjoy my dental visits with Dr. Tina Liang. She makes the visit enjoyable. She is pleasant, gentle with her petite hands and experienced. She knows what she is doing. Dr. Liang teaches dental students and is highly intelligent. She is thorough and explains every procedure well. Dr. Liang takes pride in her work with taking before and after photographs. She really puts me at ease so much that I look forward to my next dental visit.

How many people can actually say "I look forward to seeing my dentist"? I used to have concerns going to dental offices. Since I was highly recommended to Dr. Tina Liang by my mom 5 yeaars ago, I have complete trust and faith going to the dentist. Dr. Liang is intelligent with a great deal of dental knowledge, experienced hand skills, and efficient execution of the final results. Also, She explains in details with lots of patience what I need and how it will be done. She gives me options which I like and answers my questions sincerely. Sometimes, she even draws pictures with her many color pens to help me understand my dental problems. My teeth are clean, healthy and strong. I have and will continue to highly recommend my dentist to others and I follow her wherever she practices.

I have been going to Dr. Tina Liang since I was a child with my parents. She is our family dentist. It is because of Dr. Tina that I decided to go into the healthcare career. I love the way she cares for her patients. She is patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. She is passionate about dentistry, artistry and her patients. She takes photographs of her work to show me that a beautiful healthy smile is extremely important! Now, 15 years later, I am a part time dental assistant and going to school to become a dental hygienist. Dr. Liang motivated me to love my smile, have confidence when I talk and care for patients for years to come. Thank you Dr. Tina Liang for your inspiration and hard work. Because of you, I am helping others to have better oral health.

I just had my year end cleaning and exam done with Dr. Tina Liang and again she took great care with me making sure that I do not have new cavities or gum diseases since I am at risk. Her gentle touch and down to earth nature makes going to the dentist FUN!!! I never worry and have complete trust in her decision making. Dr. Liang emphasizes patient education. Her abilities to spend time to discuss detailed treatment plan options and openly answers any questions are her strengths as a Dental School Professor. She has over the years artistically crafted great looking, healthy teeth for me. I can depend on Dr. Liang to drop everything to help me with my dental emergencyies. Dr. Liang will put her patients first and provide the highest standards of quality care for her patients.

Dr. Tina Liang is my dentist and I would never go to another dentist. I do not know what I will do when she retires because she has been working very hard teaching and seeing patients for decades. Recently she took me in immediately when I fell and fractured all my 4 front teeth below the gums and part of the bone around the teeth. I would not smile or eat with ragged roots in the front. I loss my self confidence while in the hospital. Once I was discharged, she pulled them out and replaced the sockets with bone. She then made a temporary bridge that she made her self since the lab was close for Thanksgiving. I left with better temporary teeth than my own teeth. I can smile again and gained weight for my surgery. Within 2 weeks I was able to have my permanent teeth in time for me to have my colon surgery. I can not thank her enough for the time and effort spent with me to repair my many dental problems in such as short time . How many dentist would come in on Thanksgiving to do this?

I saw Dr.Tina Liang for 2 root canals, surgery on my gums and bridge work after my car accident . My teeth fractured and one fell out totally. I was so devastated and my brother referred me to see his dentist, Dr. Liang, an artist who does pretty cosmetic work which is what I needed. Dr. Liang carefully and thoroughly examined my injuries. She was informative and very patient, kind and reassured me about how I can have my teeth back with different options. I did not want to wait for implant so she end up saving the fractured teeth with painless root canals and a bridge to replace my loss tooth but she did put bone into missing tooth so if I want an implant in the future I will have bone. It came out so pretty that I cried with joy. I stay with Dr. Liang for all my dental needs and has followed her wherever she practices.

I have high anxiety going to the dentist since I was young. All my previous dentists did not bother to spend time to address my fears. They quickly worked in my mouth without making efforts to reduce my anxiety so yo get it done and dismiss me until I was told by my friend who sees and swears by her, dentist, Dr. Tina Liang has made a complete change in my attitude about going to the dentist and having dental work! I now at age 28 can finally look forward to seeing my dentist. She talks to you at eye level and is honest , caring and takes time to address any and all my concerns / fears at each and every visit. She educates me at my level so I get it. It helps that she is also a professor at the dental school and has been teaching dental students and many dentists out there were taught by her but she also has been seeing patients for a very long time! I now have a beautiful white smile and a healthy mouth too!

I saw Dr. Liang when I used to live in CT. A couple of years ago I moved to NY for a promotion. Last year while we were watching tv on the couch when my 10 year leaned back suddenly and knocked one of my front teeth out . Although there are plenty of Dentists in NY, I come all the way here to be treated by Dr,Liang. Yes, she is that good. Thanks for giving my smile back.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Liang. I would like to start of by saying she cares deeply for her patients. My experience with Dr. Tina Liang has been wonderful and painless. She is caring, intelligent, compassionate, and very experienced. She has always put her patients first before herself. She called me after my visit and she is the only doctor who has ever called me after all my procedures to see how I was feeling. I and my entire family follow her. She's gentle, understanding, informative, and thorough. If I have an emergency, she will answer my call and tries to see me ASAP. She has been my dentist for the last 15 years. My husband had severe pain in his mouth and she saw him immediately and was able to refer him to a specialist and Dr. Tina saved his life.

She was the worst dentist that I have ever gone to. She did a root canal and did so much damage to my mouth that is was a nightmare. She did a root canal and I had extreme pain and infection for years and ended up in the hospital. I wish that I never went to her. I looked her up later and she has been sued numerous times for doing damage to patients.
