Great Experience
The front office staff and Dr. Fonner were great during the removal of wisdom teeth from our son. He remembers the entire procedure and said that Dr. Fonner was attentive and made sure he was comfortable during the entire thing.

Wisdom Teeth
Son had his wisdom teeth extracted. Pre-op, operation, and follow up were all top notch. Would recommend.

I will never return to this place nor would I ever recommend this office to anyone. I had to have 2 wisdom teeth removed. I was extremely nervous and scared. The office was ice cold, and the employees were even colder. They give you paperwork with a ton of terrifying information to read over and sign right before you go in then they sit you in a freezing cold room for quite awhile until someone comes in and says they are gonna start numbing you then they leave you alone for awhile longer until the dr comes in. Then they start ripping your mouth open cutting your lips and if you try to say they are hurting you or try to move your lip they get very annoyed with you and say they aren’t even touching you. It took them over an hour to get one of my teeth out bc it was grown down into the roots and it was really hard to get out. It was very painful. I was having pain shoot through my jaw but was terrified to even say if it hurt bc they make you feel ignorant and embarrassed to say a word.

He did a great job. He explained to me how lower teeth are harder to pull than uppers. I had no pain during the entire process. I asked for some medicine to rub on my gums before the shots and they brought it right in. Everyone in that office treated me great. I hope that I do not have to have any more teeth pulled, but if I do I will go to Dr. Fonner without a doubt. The time is about 36 hours since my procedure and I feel great. I am doing just what they told me to do and I thank their office for checking on me this A.M.

(Pt. 2) He had to known that he cut my lip. It was deep and looked like a sausage split open. When the procedure was done they pushed me out the back door and said see ya in a week. No antibiotics were prescribed. No pain medication, nothing. I'm sure they told me to put ice on it and take Ibuprofen if needed but I don't remember because I literally was traumatized by the situation. I drove myself, which seems strange that they didn't have me get a driver. I'm naturally a pleaser so I never spoke up for myself during the whole thing. After about 2 days, my face was still super tender, was turning more red and was hot to touch. I knew I had an infection brewing. Thankfully I work at a clinic and had someone prescribe me pain medication and antibiotics. Then the real kicker was Dr. Fonner was out of network with my insurance and no one ever informed me! Yes, it is my responsibility to know this, but I thought they went off my dental insurance, which he is in network for.

The man didn't even speak to me and I had just handed the receptionist several hundred dollars. Took 5 mins to extract 2 back teeth at $275 per tooth. Refused to do all 4 teeth because it would have left a $700 balance. Apparently he thought I wouldn't pay? I will find a different oral surgeon to do the other 2.

Dr. Fonner seemed very knowledgeable and diagnosed and gave me answers to my problem very quickly. The problem came with billing. I received 6 E.O.B’s from insurance in the 6 months following my visit. I never received a bill until 11 months after my visit. I asked that the bill be resubmitted to medical insurance because of some discrepancies with the dental insurance. I then received a bill a month later and waited for an E.O.B. from my medical insurance. Meanwhile a world wide pandemic struck and I assumed that was the delay with insurance so I waited about 3 months and never got anything from insurance. I decided to just pay the bill only to find out they already sent me to collections.

I've had a couple of bad experiences with other dentists & was afraid to go. When I got there they got me in quickly, made me comfortable, & it was out in approx. 1 min from the start of extraction. It was so fast & painless I had to ask if it was out. Dr. Fonner & his staff were very friendly, professional, quick, & they listen. The office is very clean & their xray machine made that whole process 100% more pleasant than the less modern version. I give them an A+ for exceptional service.

I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Fonner and his staff on Jan 29,2016. My experience was absolutely amazing. Before my appointmet Dr. Fonner explained everything in detail and wanted me to have a complete understanding of the procedure. On the day, of the procedure, the staff was kind and made sure I was comfortable and told me what they were doing (blood presssure, oxygen etc.) while they were doing it. The lady who did my IV was great. Best dental experience. Dr. Fonner is the best choice.
