I guess he's a good dentist but was shocked at his response to my special needs son. He was somewhat fidgety and Dr. Schechner's face got beet red with anger and he picked up my son and took him into the exam room. I was not allowed in. To this day I regret not taking my son and leaving. Later my son told me that he was very rough with him and mean. I never went back.

He is by far the best dentist for children, especially with special needs or children who cannot sit still. Staff is always wonderful and understanding! Love him and his office.

Both of my children have seen Dr. Schechner and they have both liked him very much. He is very professional and really enjoys what he is doing. The Dental Assistants are THE BEST!
