September 2023: My experience at this dental office was extremely disappointing. I wanted this to be my dental home and was willing to drive a distance for quality care. I had two dental crowns done and had issues with both. The first one, I was told the permanent crown would be done in approximately 2-3 weeks. No one from the office kept me updated and I received limited information when I called. I waited over a month to get the crown and have been disappointed with the fit. Per Dr. Griffin, the crown would significantly reduce the food trap issue I was having but the condition has worsened. For the second one, I was quoted a price of around $1100 (written quote) but when I had the procedure completed, I was informed I owed approximately $500 more. There should be laws and regulations preventing a dentist from quoting, in writing, a price for a procedure (crown) and then adding $500.00 when the procedure is completed. Questionable billing practices!!!

I recently had a emergency while vacationing in Mt. Pleasant SC. I just happened to find Dr Tara Griffins office and how fortunate I was!!! Not only did she work me in to her schedule but she was kind, knowledgeable and treated me so well. She assessed my problem and got me connected to an Entodontist the same day to resolve my problem. The staff in this office were very friendly and kind as well. I would highly recommend this dental practice. Janet Life, Key West, FL
