Dr. Steven Hardy, DDS

Dr. Hardy at Paradise Dental is a decent dentist and his dental hygienists are very good. That being said, after several years in his practice, my family and I are searching for a new dentist. On several occasions, I have waited 30-60 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. Being a physician myself, I understand the challenges of a busy schedule and unforeseen issues causing delays. I just wish Dr. Hardy's office staff was as understanding about my hectic schedule.I brought my 15 and 17 year old boys in for appointments and arrived 5-10 minutes early. I had some important business to take care of, and I informed the office staff that I needed to step out for 15 minutes to handle it. They immediately informed me that leaving my teenage boys there for this short period was against their policy. I had to leave with the boys and planned to reschedule the appointments. In the interim, I received a $100 bill for 'cancelling' the appointments.I guess I am just tired of the po

They started to make appts. at 9 months intervals. Now just one week before our next appt. they call and will not see us because they will not accept our ins. After being one of his patients for 17 years, Great! Do not count on this office for professionalism.

I hadn't been to a dentist for six years and was dreading my need to go. The atmosphere in the office soon put me at ease and that was due to the cheerful staff. I especially appreciated that Dr. Hardy explained my options - rather than just pushing expensive procedures - which let me make an informed, comfortable decision. My six month check up is on the calendar and I will definitely be there!
