Dr. Stanley Sotnikov, DDS

The quality of the implants and crowns installed by Dr. Stanley Sotnikov are not good and the cost of the crowns is a much higher price than is allowed by the insurance. In addition to overcharging, there is an element of deception and deceit in the office. Dr. Stanley Sotnikov installed two implant crowns for me, and both had defects: the screw/abutments were exposed and not covered by the fillings which cosmetically looked bad. Dr. Stanley Sotnikov agreed that it was a technical error, and he will correct it at no charge to me. Yes, he did the correction, but he charged me a full amount for the rework as a new installation after promising me several times that there will be no charge for the rework. Very dishonest.

I'm having nightmares after having a crown seated and the extraction of a wisdom tooth. I told him that the tooth with the temporary crown was very sensitive. He poked at the tooth with a sharp point, causing my lower body to jump. Didn't allow time for the topical anesthesia to numb the gum. He waved the giant needle in front of my eyes before plunging it into the still sensitive gum. The wisdom tooth, he numbed the cheek side but not the tongue side. Again plunging needle into sensitive.
