Dr. Sidney Raiski, DMD

Dr. Raiski has been my doctor for a number of years. His clinical skills, knowledge base, bed-side manner and compassion are unmatched. I trust no-one else with the care of my mouth other than Dr. Raiski. - AL

Dr. Raiski is the most caring doctor I have ever met. He will listen to you and will make you feel at ease. He is amazing at explaining every you need and his skills are out of this word. I found my dentist and I will follow him anywhere he goes.

My issue with Gentle Dental in general and the Norwood office in particular is two-fold: 1. The painful tooth extraction done by Dr. Raiski that left me in pain for two weeks and the $160 charge for a needed (but not successful–he missed the bone shard in the gum) follow-up. 2. The business model used by Gentle Dental in which the “estimate” and final cost are very different. I asked them for a more exact cost figure. They offered to contact my insurance company but never did. The final bill was about $1650 more than the $942 estimate. Related to this problematic model is the surprise bills you can get months later. The procedure was done (and paid for, I thought) in October and I received bills in December and February. Also, the constant turn-over of the front desk staff (and dentist–this is the third since I started there in 2017) means there is no consistency in discussions and follow-up about issues.
