Dr. Shelby Knight, DDS

Love the dentists, hygienists, and assistants, but don't love the office procedures. Dentists, hygienists, and assistants are friendly and they know what they're doing in terms of taking care of your teeth. When it comes to office procedures, they don't really respect your time. They require you to fill out brand new paperwork every couple of years. They call and send multiple text reminders for a single appointment and expect you to confirm multiple times. They do not have a standardized way to confirm appointments so it's up to you to guess what they want in terms of a reply. They should just ask if anything has changed when you come into the office, or have you verify a printout of your information and sign as confirmation. They should just send out one text as a reminder rather than texting and calling you multiple times. If every medical office did this, people would get overwhelmed and confused. I wish they have better procedure that respect patient's time and energy.

I have now seen Dr. Knight 3 times over the course of 18 months. I'm am very happy with this change. Dr. Knight is kind, caring dentist. I expressed concern over previous issues with novocaine shots my whole life. Dr. Knight found a way to make them more tolerable for me. He has only suggested treatments that I truly needed. (unlike a national chain). The hygienists are nice and efficient, and the staff is pleasant. They are conveniently located a couple of blocks off of IH35. Thanks Dr.K!
