Dr. Shefali Marchawala, DDS

Dr. Marchawala billed my insurance for services that were not rendered, she received payment and stated she would be refunding the money... 2 years later she has not refunded the money and I now have to pay out of pocket for the service. She claimed my children didn't have any cavities, come to find out they did and she apparently never found any!Don't give this office any of your money!!!!!

Had an appointment with this doctor and visited her office to replace a broken crown with CIGNA DHMO insurance. They took me to the exam room and took x-ray. After few minutes she came to me and said politely she is unable to do this, because my insurance only pay very less amount for her service. So I asked her how much it would cost, if I pay from my pocket. she replied $900. They sent me home with the broken crown (no service done) and said, after they talk with insurance provider they will give a call back which, i never receive a call back from the Dentist office. Myself and the staff at the front office contacted the insurance and the insurance told me my crown is fully covered. Very disappointed with this Dentist as she consider giving more respect to money than her patient
