Had to have an upper tooth extracted in preparation for an implant. I was told I would need to have a palatal injection for numbing. I was scared to death as I had one of those shots in 1981 and it was the most pain I have ever experienced. He assured me he had a special way of performing it and it would not be painful. I was hesitant and found that hard to believe. It was not bad at all, in fact, less painful than the shot in the gum. He is very skilled and made the experience 100% better than expected.
