Dr. Shahriyar Banihashemi, DDS

Dr. Banihashemi was requested by my dental surgeon to remove a crown over a root canal he had recently performed to treat the infection in the root canal before it grew worse. I had made an appointment for this revisit. Dr. Bani responded with: “I’ll just drill a hole through the crown.” He was advised by his son that the next appointment had arrived. He said: “I changed my mind about drilling a hole to treat the infection. Let’s wait until the next appointment.” He found out that the next vacancy was in five weeks. I called back one week later and asked his son to tell his dad that I have a serious emergency. Dr. Bani picked up the phone as I explained that the tooth was burning with pain and can’t be even touched without excruciating pain, and that my whole mouth was swollen and painful. Dr. Bani replied firmly: “I said to wait five weeks and so I will not work on it before then.” Another endodontist discerned the urgency and cancelled his next appointment to work on it asap.

Dr. Bani is the greatest. He is respectful to his patient's needs. Very caring and professional. Would not go to anyone else for root canals.
