Didn't want to deal with me
Saw him in Feb of 2024. Had very bad ear and jaw pain and asymmetry. He took an xray and basically dismissed all my concerns. Actually said he had seen worse and just gave me a steroid pack and said that would fix it. I asked him if I had condylar hyperplasia because a surgeon who i met in a consultation said she could see it. He said no to both and basically put me into a bad place mentally while my pain increased and my asymmetry was getting worse. Just dismissed all my concerns. Fast forward and now I am seeing a maxiofacial surgeon who specializes in tmj and other jaw surgeries. Took an xray, ct, and mri. I have unilateral condylar hyperplasia, mandibular asymmetry, and anterior disc displacement without reduction and my discs are actually mishapen and torn. Both my tmj joints show deterioration and one is having severe functional issues. They both have to be replaced. Thank you for not taking me seriously. Honestly my symptoms are so apparent, you don't need to be a dds to see it.
