Always friendly, professional & prompt while being personable & explaining treatment approaches thoroughly. Great family dentist. We’ve been going for years!

Due to dissatisfaction with another dentistry and urgency of getting work needed done before I left to go on vacation , I contacted Aurora Family Dentist office and I was able to get seen by Dr Choi. He was very patient and caring and attentive to my concerns. He was very thorough with explaining my situations and giving me options and even expedited my crown to get back before I left the state on vacation.

I found Aurora Family Dentistry through the annual Alaska's Best list YEARS ago, and have been a happy patient of Dr.Scott's ever since. He has seen me through regular visits, fillings, clear braces, and even cosmetic dentistry and it's clear that this is a man who genuinely cares about his craft, his staff, and his patients. The new facility on Gambell is fantastic and welcoming (with great views to boot.) Everyone from the front desk staff to the dental techs are so friendly and everyone seems to go above and beyond. This is the only dental practice I've legitimately LOOKED FORWARD to visiting. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Staff was friendly and informative on what would be done on the visit. Took the time to go over what would be next and didn't rush me out of the office. Was probably the most relaxing dental visit I have ever had.

This is a well run, efficient and friendly practice. I’ve been a patient for several years. Dr. Lyke thoroughly explains his recommended procedures, is conservative in recommending procedures and is very concerned about his patients wellbeing. He just replaced a failing crown. The process was completed with minimum discomfort; the temporary crown felt like an original tooth and the permanent crown fit perfectly. Thank you Dr. Scott Lyke! Dr. Lyke is personable and cares about the patient. He take the to explain during his examination or procedure. The rest of the office personnel are really focused on you.

Claire, upfront in reception, did a great job in getting us into a canceled appointment while a family member was receiving a cleaning. So we were taken good care of at the same time.As usual, Dr (Lady) Lyke saw us and gave an examination. Of particular note: I really liked the use of the water scaler to clean my teeth. The hygienist used it very effectively. Another favorable experience. Thanks.
