I explained on my visit his chairs aggravated my non-dental disability. He laughed and disparaged me by saying it was me not his chairs. On my needed dental procedure, he quoted me 35 percent more than another local dentist and 10% more than previous, this after he laughed at my discomfort. When I questioned his office quote, he refused to talk to me. He sent a staffer to say, take it or leave it. When I began to leave I was charged for a service I didn't know I received. While I questioned his office staff, I paid when informed I would be charged and the unpaid bill sent to an agency. I paid, not asking further questions.

I had bruxism; enamel worn down on at least one molar. A crown was placed; no decay present. Crown ill fitting; bruised ligament, crown too high. Brushed off and instead my opposing tooth was filed down. Pain began again. "Now you need a root canal." Dr. Holm thinks he is a specialist as he's done "hundreds" of RCs. GET AN ENDODONTIST! Root canal failed and $1500 crown all but destroyed during 2 retreats. Almost lost my tooth due to this. 2nd opinion revealed the mess I got myself into.

He was very nice on first visit, then lost interest in me as patient when I asked treatment questions. When pointed out that his staff caused problems, he ignored concern and follow up while staff had made me wait to be last patient. Walked past me, out of office, without acknowledgment. If you don't respond to staff's false cheerfulness, they make things hard. Doctor is glib, but thin-skinned if you express his staff caused pain you didn't believe should have been.

Dr.Holm is an excellent dentist he is very supportive, professional, naturally loving, and has a beautiful witty charming personality which is rare to find from most dentist these days. Offers one of the best services from any dentist I've ever been to makes you very comfortable during your whole visit also, place of work is immaculate and clean you surely will not be disappointed at all. I would highly recommend him over any other dentist in the QC bettendord/davenport area.
