I was quite anxious about having my molar removed. I couldn’t sleep. As I was in the waiting area the next day, I thought to myself,” I’d rather be having a baby than a molar removed!” I am 67. Dr. Godwin is very professional. He explained EVERYTHING in detail before, during and after. After numbing the area, it literally took less than 5 minutes to remove!!! I will admit, the numbing, roof injection did really pinch. I felt NOTHING when the molar was removed. I would highly recommend this oral surgeon! I am healing well and worried for nothing .

Dr Godwin explained the procedure thoroughly, and patiently answered all my questions. The procedure, which I was very anxious about went smoothly. I experienced minimal pain during my recovery, and I could not be happier with what I had anticipated to be a very traumatic experience. In short, I found him to be caring and empathetic and I could not recommend him enough.

Dr Godwin a fantastic dentist, had all teeth extracted, bone grafting, literally no pain after surgery!

Dr. Godwin pulled a tooth on my lower jaw and "nicked a nerve" in the process. He realized this but was very slow to address any treatment to help the nerve heal. Although eventually he gave medication to promote nerve regeneration, my lower lip is still half numb a year later. Perhaps inevitable, but poor case management.

He removed the remnants of an upper molar that served me for over 62 years. The #15 tooth was previously root canaled and capped but sadly broke at the gumline. He is very professional, efficient & he listens to you, and he removed the roots quicker than I thought he would. I was very pleased!
