Dr. Ryan Friedrich, DDS

I am not sure if the individuals with negative reviews are seeing the same Dr. Ryan Friedrich as me because he is truly an amazing dentist. I am not one to shy away from the truth and the truth is I’ve never been a fan of dentist in general; but I adore Dr. Friedrich and his team, especially Jessica, Kayla and Amy. They are very accommodating, courteous, and enthusiastic about the welfare of their clients. For instance, they stayed after hours to do emergency dental work on me and follow up the next day just to check in on me. Prior to starting any procedures, Dr. Friedrich always throughly explains the process and makes sure his patients are comfortable and at ease before beginning work. He is always as gentle as possible which is very important especially if you’re already in pain! Since becoming a patient with Dr. F I have become less anxious about going to the dentist. Also he plays great music in the office

I may be biased. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Friedrich well over 20 years; closer to 30, I think. I’ve had very few concerns. When I have, Dr. Friedrich has always been available and responsive. One thing I boast about is that I rarely need additional pain medication after procedures.

Over the years Dr Friedrich has put 2 crowns in for me. I have had problems with both of them. When the first crown came out I was living in Asia and an American dentist told me that it was cheaply made and poorly fitting. The second crown also had numerous problems including fit, durability issues and coming out. He also did the WORST job on my son’s front tooth bonding. The color does not match. When I went back to have him redo it he told me that eventually as he ages he will need it redone anyone and to leave it. Every visit takes up 2-3 hours which is ridiculous. I have since switched dentists and have much better service and higher quality of products with warranties. Most recently I went in to have him look at one of the crowns he put in and he charged me for the visit without evening looking in my mouth or examining the tooth. The lesson for me is I certainly have gotten what I’ve paid for-not much.

Dr. Friedrich is a great dentist-he and his staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. However, their front desk employee is very rude. Every time I have called or visited the office, she has appeared to be completely miserable and is incredibly unfriendly and has an attitude with patients. It's not a good look for the office when she is the first and last person you speak to, and it negatively impacts my otherwise very positive experience in the office.

Dr. Friedrich replaced a crown that lasted only 5 months.. The crown fell out and had to be recemented three times. End result: the crown failed; I have no front tooth and I’m out $2000 for faulty dentistry. I received a second opinion and the dentist stated I did not need a crown because there was not enough tooth structure to hold the crown in the first place. Make sure Dr. Friedrich guarantees/insures his work before you pay - if something goes wrong he will not stand behind his work.

I've been a patient of Dr. Friedrich for 15 years. He has always taken the time to explain things thoroughly .On rare occasions there has been a wait worth mentioning, but I know it is because unexpected complications can come up and Dr. Friedrich will do his best for each patient as he has for me.

unethical with old fashion and out-dated equipment. He put on a crown which was broken the next day. I came back he put back on. But it hurt since then every time I eat.
