Dr. Rodney Runyon, DDS

I have been going to Dr. Runyon’s office since 2020 and I have always been early to my appointments for cleanings, repairs, etc. Today I was coming from work, from Nashville, and there was a terrible wreck on the interstate to Gallatin. I was five minutes past “their policy window” to be late. Given I have already taken a hour off of work, and they refused to see me because of five extra minutes. I work in healthcare myself and this is ridiculous, I do NOT recommend this place like I once did to many others. The poor customer service and understanding is absurd. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

First appointment this morning for tooth extraction. Dr Runyon and his staff are very friendly and professional. He informed me of my options to deal with my situation and let me choose my treatment. They responded to my choice in a very timely manner. I will definitely be returning to this office for future appointments. Very efficient and sensitive to my needs.

I've been going to Dr. Runyon in Gallatin, TN for over 10 years, and for the most part my experiences up until late have been adequate. However it seems that in the past couple of years or so Dr. Runyon has had a difficult time keeping office staff. As well it is my experience in dealing with his current office staff (as of 6/6/17) that they act indifferent to me as a patient; no smiles, no pleasant greetings, no apparent empathy, but instead impassively bored and begrudging business as usual.

First visit with a large family. I had to ask to see the doctor to introduce myself. He could care less that he was gaining 9 patients from one family. Very impersonal!

He is a wonderful family Dentist.
