Dr. Bob Dernick goes above and beyond what is expected when it comes to dental care. We had family visiting from out of town. Jill had her front tooth cap come off while eating at a local restaurant on a Saturday night. By Sunday morning she was in a lot of pain. We called Dr. Dernick not hoping for much on a Sunday but he met us at his dental office and managed to create a temporary cap that Jill's Salt Lake dentist hated to remove! Dr. Dernick's professionalism and kindness go unrivaled.

Dr. Dernick is a life saver! I was never getting a good night's rest and I mentioned that to him at one of my checkups. He did an analysis on me, sent me home with a sleep test and subsequently diagnosed me with sleep apnea. He was able to treat my sleep apnea by making a dental appliance that I wear each night. Now, I wake up refreshed, better able to concentrate, not tired throughout the day, and my wife sleeps better as well since I don't snore anymore. Thank you Dr. Dernick!

UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES! I was charged $60 over my quote for a teeth cleaning due to undisclosed services they require without authorization. In addition, they automatically try and take X-rays without authorization or pricing explanation - luckily I stopped her before she took those too! Dr Dernick may get away with taking advantage of the insurance companies by operating this way, but as an individual paying out-of-pocket, BEWARE!
