Dr. Richard Ekstein, DMD

Dr Ekstein barely looked in my mouth, said a few words to me, and spoke about me to his hygienist (who was amazing) about how 'NOT smart' I am for not electing to do a cosmetic procedure. I mean, I'm sitting right there! This was the second time seeing this guy. The 1st time, he was so quick I didn't even catch his name. I'll be looking into a new dentist before my next appt. Too bad, because I really love the hygienist there. She is very thorough and informative.

They called to confirm my apt time 3 times including right before the appointment and then made me wait 3 hours with 35 other patients without answering me about how many patients were ahead of me. This is their routine process. This dentist also gave poor quality incomplete service and showed a lack of competence in dentistry. Avoid this dentist at all costs. Any random one would be better.

Doctor Ekstein is an excellent dentist and staff is terrific. They make you feel welcome and very accommodating. Have been going to Smile Design for several years.

My family and I had our teeth cleaned on our first visit. The front desk staff was very nice. Liz, my hygienist, was great! Very attentive! I had to come back to have work done and wanted to use my secondary insurance to cover the additional charges. I was told by the office staff that both insurance plans were accepted. AFTER the work was completed, I was informed that only one plan would be able to cover my charges. Long story short, I now have an almost $800 bill because the staff misspoke. I tried to work with the staff however I was told there was nothing they could do despite providing incorrect information. The office is great however be sure to get a quote IN WRITING before receiving any major dental work. They may not honor their word.

Terrible, cleaning girl was AWEFUL, barely touched my teeth. When I said I wasn't able to afford to treatment we had discussed the girls behind the desk rolled their eyes. How bad can you make someone feel! Then they made me stand there waiting while they fooled around.

I have a very bad experience in this office. The doctor and the manager only talk about money. If the bill is $500 and you only have $450, they will refuse to see you because of the money. They only surprise you with the bill in the office. Very bad and shameful office. I will not recommend deling with people who only cares about money. Do not trust their service.
