It's hard to leave a Dentist that does a good job. However, prior to last routine cleaning, I notified this Dentist’s office that I had changed from employment provided insurance to Medicare (Regent) and provided the correct information prior to the appointment. After the cleaning, I received a bill for $450. Upon contacting the DDS office, they told me that they were out of network for my Medicare Insurance. OON pays only 50%. They also had charged me for a $90 fluoride treatment which I had declined. I spoke with the office manager to inquire and was credited the $90. When I inquired why they did not advise me that they were out of network prior to my appointment, I was told that they had 2,000 patients and just do not have the time to contact every one. I called back, cancelled my next appointment and asked for a records transfer form. The now very defensive office manager's comment was again, "I'm sorry you feel this way but we have over 2,000 patients".....My response was will you have one less patient. Perhaps you will have more time for better Customer Service

I’m squeamish—He’s gentle
I am particularly squeamish around dentists as a result of sensitive teeth and several bad experiences in the past. Dr. Coyner is kind and gentle. He makes sure that the amount of anesthetic is adequate before he starts anything, and is responsive to any sensitivities I may have. I no longer hate going to the dentist because of him!

We started here with Dr. Richards and Dr. Coyner was new. We trusted that Dr. Richards would only let someone excellent join his practice and that proved to be true. Dr. Coyner is a very positive dentist which shows in the way he treats his staff as well as his patients. One of the best things is he can put in the anesthetic very gently and he always waits until it has taken full effect. I do NOT want him to retire!
