Dr. Ascano charged us way too much for fillings. Our insurance says it covers fillings one hundred percent but because he charges over the allowed amount per filling it didn't cover the filling cost. I looked up the average cost for the type of fillings he did and his price was double the average cost. How sad for a dentist to take the maximum allowed amount for fillings from an insurance company and then take even more money out of the pockets of his patients.
