Dr. Pye Kyu, DDS

That I made an appointment for 2 (!!) root canals was significant. That I showed UP??? Even more impressive but my fear and PTSD from a prior dentist in 2017 was trying hard to stay in place.Dr. Kyu was so very patient with me explaining WHY he had to do something that would create pain (cold test). He explained WHY he had to know which tooth could still sense things so he didn't do the wrong thing to a tooth.PTSD was setting up in my head and he patiently explained further.Needless to say, he gets 5 stars, I'd give 10 if I could because the tooth that could be worked on was remediated and the one that can't be saved was referred to a different dentist for extraction.Dr. Kyu COULD have 'tried' to save the bad tooth, putting more $$ into his pocket but he chose to be honest, forthright and in the end, did right by me.Can't recommend him enough - especially if you're terrified of the dentist and have had extremely bad experiences.Dr. Kyu FTW!

This was the first time in my life that I experienced a root canal with absolutely no pain. The entire procedure took only 20 minutes. My follow up with the dentist who installed the crown said that it appeared a very professional job was done. I give a definite 5 star rating

Dr. Kyu was extremely thorough and took the time to explain to me that the problem with my tooth could not be fixed with a root canal. He took 3D (?) Xrays and showed me in depth what my problem was. He could have done a root canal and charged me for it only to have it fail at a later date but he did the fair and honest thing telling me that he did not think it would solve my problem. Not only did he not take advantage of my situation, he worked with me on the amount I owed him.

Dr Kyu is very thorough, fast and has superb skills. I am a general dentist and he fixed my tooth that another endodontist couldn't. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Kyu took me in and worked through his lunch as I was an emergency work in. His professionalism and patient concern was unbelievable. His assistant was also very professional and courteous. I would recommend him to all in need of a root canal. Now to the reason I gave only 3 stars. Beware of the front desk help though. When it came time for my final visit I was told what my bill was. Being on a fixed income I could not pay the entire balance. I was told you need to pay your bill. Dr. Kyu even worked through his lunch for you (which my daughter compensated them very well for that by providing them with Panera early that morning to prepare them for that time). I appreciate and I’m grateful for that was my reply. She continue to belittle and humiliate me in front of God and all. I told her I could give her some today and the rest by the end of the month. My husband went to pay the entire balance 3 days after my visit and then she admit they made a mistake.

He is kind, gentle, and proficient. He did a root canal which was done so diligently...it ended up saving my tooth. I would recommend him to anyone. Amazing work and character. Office staff was also very kind and sweet.

Dr. Kyu is GREAT. I am terrified of the dentist (because of bad dental work I had done as a child), but this was a cake walk, considering it was a root canal. Dr. Kyu was empathetic and talked me through the procedure before we got started; he also made constant check-ins to make sure I was okay during the procedure. Dr. Kyu is very efficient; the root canal only took about 20-25 minutes once the Novacaine set in. I highly recommend him!

I had a root canal done by Dr. Kyu and his staff were excellent,made me feel comfortable the whole time. I would recommend him to anyone, I was out of there within an hour. After my procedure was done I was pain free once again.

Dr Kyu is one of the most thorough, meticulous endodontist I have ever gone to. In fact, I just recommended him to a friend.
