Dr. Priya Acharya, DMD

I am in the midst of a procedure to replace a dental bridge with an implant. Dr. Acharya has a calming manner, listens well and is emphatic to the needs and concerns of her patients. I am so happy I took the advice of my primary dentist when he recommended Dr. Acharya for an implant.

Dr Acharya is beyond great!I have been a Dentist in Roanoke for 43 years and Dr Acharya has the most pleasing, calming and professional manners . As painless as anything I have had performed on me. Please do not let the very important periodontal procedure you may need go unfinished as you are well taken care of by Dr Acharya and her staff. Dr Acharya is the Best!

Dr. Acharya is a real treasure! I was very nervous about getting work done on my gums in regards to gum recession and put it off for a while. Her office is clean, efficiently run, with personable staff members. The three people I interacted with were exceptional and made the visit pleasant and enjoyable! Dr. Acharya is very knowledgeable, caring, professional, and efficient. She was there when I had questions and on call. I felt more confident about my smile again after my visit, exam, and the procedure. Wonderful practice and experience!

Dr. Acharya has the most empathy of any of the 4 perio’s I’ve seen over the past 20+ years. I fell that she genuinely cares about the patient. She takes time to explain and especially to LISTEN to her patients. She is also very gentle with the needle!

My primary dental doctor referred this place for deep cleaning. After exam I was told the procedure will be done in 2 visits and out of pocket cost for each visit is $126. After few months I received bill for $323 and called the insurance they told Doctor office should have advised me the total cost before the procedure should have done predetermination before the procedure. After learning all these I called doctor office to pay the amount and they refused to take the payment and referred debt collection. I was very disappointed with this experience and this office is only care about the money and predatory practice. They do not care about the patient and affront disclosing the cost before the procedure. If I had the information upfront my insurance could have covered later time.

I've only had one visit so far with Dr. Acharya, but I was impressed by her office and her knowledge and professionalism. Thankful to be her patient!

Dr. Acharya is very compassionate, thorough, and her work is excellent. She is the BEST!!
