Questionable practices
Scheduled a cleaning but had to wait 6 weeks to get in. As a previous patient I wanted to return. However, due to a knee surgery over 7 years ago, hygienist would not do my cleaning until I premeditated with amoxicillin (unk strength). I explained that I no longer had any such order but was still refused service. I take several meds for HBP, RA, and was not comfortable taking any additional meds until I could talk to my GP and my Rheumatologist for drug interactions. I was told my Delta insurance would cover x-rays and the Dr. exam, but was charged over $100 upon checkout. Completely unsatisfied with this experience. If I needed premedicated they had 6 weeks to find that out, not while I'm laying in the chair wondering what's taking so long ? So...I now have new x-rays and a Dr check but dirty teeth. 25 min drive out...25 min drive back.
