I was a new patient. I had to cancel my appointment w/Dr. Patrick Waite twice. My 13-y.o. is on a heart monitor, and when it exceeds 170, I have to have paramedics come so he doesn't code. I explained this to Dr. Waite's office staff when I had to cancel. However, when I arrived, Dr. Waite insisted I pay a $40 fee for missing my appointment. I wrote a check, but that wasn't okay with him. He insisted I had a debit card to pay him. I explained that I didn't come prepared to pay anything. Instead of accepting that explanation, he badgered me and questioned my integrity, insisting the bank gave me one when I got my checks. He went on and on and on. Finally, I told him I didn't feel welcome and wanted to leave. Then he threatened me, saying he was supposed to "turn me in" to my insurance for missed appointments. When I told him I would leave a review, he followed me out the door, trying to return my check. I told him it was clear he needed the $40 more than I did.

Dr. Waite is my dentist and having experience in the dental field I can say he is one of the few that I trust with my oral health. He also has a great and friendly team of staff. Amber, his hygienist is very thorough and gentle. I have found my lifetime dentist! I would also say that if you have doubts or fears about dentistry, this is the place to go. Dr. Waite is efficient and he gives more that one option when possible for treatment. He helps work out the best possible outcome!

Dr. Waite was very abrupt with me when asking questions, I felt like I was really a huge bother to him. It's ok...first impressions are important, and we will definitely be switching practices.

Was very professional and kind. His staff was well trained and expressed there happiness with working group for him.
He answered all of my questions. I would recommend Dr. Waite to anyone in need of death talk work. Not sure what the other reviewers issue was but in my opinion the poor review is unfounded.
