I've been a patient here for 7+ years. I recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist. Dr Ottesen is very knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and the staff is easy to do business with. Any billing issue I've had has been addressed - just make sure they check your allowable benefits before agreeing to things like fluoride treatments. I've been charged for getting 2 in a calendar year.

I used this dentist for a little over a year when she quit using my insurance without notice and said they would not charge me the copay since I was not aware, the next time I went in I paid a co pay which I had no problem with until I got my EOB and discovered I paid the co pay from the previous visit that they said they would write off. I was offered a fluoride treatment and told it was only $20. but I was charged $65. I have found a different dentist I will not ever go back.

Although I did not use Dr. Ottesen, I would rate her office staff the most stars possible. Maria was honest with me and explained they will not be continuing to accept my dental insurance. She showed above and beyond care in saving me money before I signed up with them. I am sure if the staff is this caring, Dr. Ottesen would be too. I wish insurance companies cared this much for their clients.
