Dr. Olga Kvitkina, DDS

After three appointments with Dr. Olga Kvitkina, it became clear that she is not the dentist for me. I value a doctor who communicates compassionately, and who does good work—she met neither criteria. I scheduled an initial consultation and set clear expectations that I knew I needed major dental work. At that consultation, I felt judged and shamed. I did not feel as if my questions were treated seriously, or that I received thoughtful responses. I felt as if I was being looked at as a cash cow, rather than a human trying to navigate a difficult experience. “That’s okay,” I thought. “I don’t need a doctor with good bedside manner, as long as the work is high quality.” It was not. The first procedure I had done was a crown. The doctor seemed rushed and generally unconcerned with getting a proper fit for the temporary crown (in place for three weeks), which ended up causing significant pain. I needed an extra visit to get it shaved down. Months later, now that I’ve got a permanent crown in, my tooth is still painful and not yet fully healed. I had a consultation with another dentist today—which by contrast couldn’t have been more positive—and was told that the crown I paid Dr. Kvitkina a *lot* of money for would most likely need to be replaced down the line because of the shoddy work. There are lots of other dentists in Denver. If you’re looking for a new dentist, I’d look elsewhere.

I and my daughter seeing Dr Olga Kvitkina for several years and I can definitely say that my teeth finally look healthy and perfect! She is very nice and respectful, she finds the best way to make your teeth and your mouth to be healthy and look very good.

She would be a great dentist if she had any compassion or slowed down enough to pay attention to x-ray or details. She always tries to set a record time and cuts corners to get you out of there. She has caused a world of a wreck for a loved one by not taking the time to follow up as she should after a surgery. Patient care is a very big part of dentistry. She just didn't care. Now we are having to have other dentist and oral surgeons repair the damage she has caused. She may be great for fillings or routine cleaning but stay away for anything that requires more expertise. You only get 1 mouth and when it's been wrecked by a dentist it's the hardest thing you will ever go through and will wreck your life savings .
