Dr. Neker Bernuy, DDS

Dr. Neker Bernuy utilizes antiquated Expanders causing harm to patients, overcharging for treatment, dragging out care and treatment, unprofessionalism, and poorly trained staff members. During care and treatment Dr. Bernuy seemed like he was flying by the seat of his pants and did not have a real timeline and plan of action. Managing 2 offices and poorly trained staff, he did not invest in the special care and needs of his patient. My first red flag was an issue with the financial / billing staff. The representative did not verify proper insurance benefits, protocols, and procedures - prior to my initial consultation. When a doctor is in network with an insurance company they are bound by the laws of that carrier and cannot charge whatever they feel the treatment should cost. As treatment went on the quality of care seemed very poor. The Orthodontic Assistants did not seem trained and proficient at their jobs, some barely spoke English, the staff seemed ever changing and limited.

Bernuy Ortho is amazing! We have had a great experience from the second we walked in the door. The office is beautiful and spotless. The staff is amazing and both professional and personal. Dr. Bernuy is knowledgeable, attentive, honestly passionate about his work, and goes out of his way to make both me and my daughter feel confident and informed. All of the equipment is top of the line. He takes photos before and after and tracks your progress along the way. I highly recommend and trust!!
