Neil Zane used to be the best and most thoughtful dentist around. I have been a patient of 12 years or so. I was always thrilled, up until today. I walked in and a receptionist did not have a mask on. I was flabbergasted. Neil said, he is doing the best he can with HEPA filters and partitions. I told him it is aerosols and droplets that transmit COVID. He went numb and then got mad. His assistant Joseph, who is actually in dental school, said, after I was out of my mind from the stupidity, said: "We follow CDC guidelines." No Joseph, you do not. The guidelines are to wear a mask. So, the dentist, has no answer and the assistant does not know the rules? It is a pandemic folks, and they also said to me "she put her mask on", well aerosols and droplets linger for hours. If they can't figure out what is correct protocol in a pandemic, what else are they doing wrong. Neil, you should have gone out at the top of your game, not stoop to such a nadir. Worst customer service ever!! They always change your appointments last minute without notice and charge you for services not rendered!!! Find another dentist!!!!!

I have been seeing Neil for more than 30 years. His staff--medical and non-medical--is terrific. Everyone knows all about teeth. Usually I am there just for a cleaning, but he always comes in to poke around my mouth and actually stays awhile to talk to me. When he tells me I need something done, I know I really do need it. And he always does it well. After all our years together, I can get an appointment at a moment's notice for something urgent. I can't speak for others.
