As a new patient, undergoing X-rays and a comprehensive examination, I expected to receive an all-encompassing estimate, similar to a home repair quote. However, after a routine cleaning at Dr Shin , I was handed paperwork suggesting I needed $7,000 worth of dental work. Are they serious?The demeanor of the staff at the end felt insincere, as they tacked on unnecessary procedures and attempted to persuade me of their importance.Seeking a more reliable assessment, I visited another dentist in Highland Park for a second opinion. The contrast was remarkable – the new dentist recommended only 2% of the dental work proposed by Dr Shin . Additionally, I received a thorough cleaning without the unnecessary Deep Cleaning that Dr Shin insisted upon.If faced with inflated treatment proposals, it's crucial to obtain a second opinion to avoid unnecessary expenses. I cannot recommend Dr Shin at all; consider exploring other options for your dental care.

I absolutely, positively DO NOT recommend anyone, not even my worst enemy, to ever set foot in Dr. Shin's wretched establishment! They've completely obliterated the carefully laid out plan for my mother They've gone so far as to block our calls, and that arrogant dr. Shin who dared to call her directly even had the audacity to block her number! They're hiding behind a wall of secrecy, refusing to reveal the owner's identity or provide us with any of the crucial information we require. It's an absolute disgrace!

I visited Dr. Shin for one filling. After a few days I noticed floss catching and shredding where the filling was located. I went back for a cleaning and the hygienist also noticed the issue.
