Disappointed with her patient empathy,
I had made an appointment for a dental exam and cleaning. Dr. Burgard started the exam by sticking every tooth at the gum , taking measuring to show that she recommended doing what is called a gum planning (cost before insurance is over $1000). When I said that I did not want the gum planning service, she responded by refusing to do a general teeth cleaning and did not proceed with the rest of the examination. She then left the room and sent in the assistant to release me.
