Expensive and didn't tell me how much the insurance paid them. Treatment cost more than the initial estimate.

First let me say, she's in-network, and my insurance pays half of the contracted allowable amount. She told me I needed to replace two crowns. So, I sent her office an email asking what it would cost me under my insurance. The assistant replied that with my insurance my cost per crown is $934. At the next visit, I asked the doctor about high price. She said she uses zirconia, and she has a 5-year guarantee. I checked insurance website, and her contracted allowable amount is $706 plus core buildup of $156. So, I should only pay half of that for each. I called and spoke to Dr. Aneja. She lowered the total to $1284. She said she charges an additional $200 for lab fee for each, insurance doesn't cover. I sent an email asking if I could get 5-yr warranty printed on invoice. No response. Spoke to another dentist who told me, under my insurance, she didn't think they're allowed to charge a lab fee. When I called to cancel my appointment, she tried to persuade me to reschedule at that time.

Be cautious if you pay upfront waiting for your insurance to reimburse !!!!
