Dr. Minal Mehta, DDS

I was recently in to see Dr Metah for the first time. My overall experience was great. I am a senior and have had a lot of dental work done, but recently moved into the Sun City area. I needed some extensive work done and she was able to take care of everything for me. She worked with my dental insurance to get approval for an extraction, a root canal, two crowns and a prep for a lower denture. She was compassionate, friendly, efficient and very competent. I have all ready referred a friend to her. Couldn’t be happier with a dentist. Her staff were all good too.

I and my husband have been a patient of Dr. Mehta for over 10 years. We have always recieved the best care from her and her team. My husband, who has Parkinson's, had to have dentures and she scheduled all his appointments at times that were best for him. I was out of state and had to visit a dentist because of severe pain. The dentist x-rays showed l needed a root canal. Dr. Mehta ordered antibiotics for me to control the infection until l could drive 1500 miles back to my home here in Sun City where like she always does, made sure l got in quickly to do the root canal much less expensive than what l was quoted while out of state. I highly recommend her for always giving us the best care.

My journey with this dental office started Aug 2020, at the height of Covid shutdowns. At the time, I only had 5 severely decayed teeth left that were still above the gum line and about 14 broken teeth that had been receded below the gum line for years. So bad that I had to be referred out to an oral surgeon. Dr Minah told me that Instant dentures, which they always referred to as my "temporaries", would be my best option and after I healed I would get my permanent dentures. I was so scared the 5 decayed teeth would break off when a mold was done and that's exactly what happened. Due to Covid and limited Dr visits available for authorizations from primary and the cardiologist, I was finally able to get my surgery on Dec 18. And I was swollen, but as hard as I tried, I was NEVER able to get the lower denture to fit. On Dec 22, the stitches popped out and revealed over an inch long crevice where the stitches were and the tissue was a yellowish white. It was dying tissue. I was already
