Dr. Michael Minarchek, DDS

Absolutely great experience. My son has needed dental work for a while, he’d go to other dentists only to have bad experience. He of course had great anxiety after these other experiences, Dr Minarchek was wonderful with him and my son got the things he needed done. My son has some future work that will need to be done and he said he will definitely return to Dr Minarchek for his dental care. Kiddos to him and his staff.

I have come to this dentist on and off for years. Like a lot of people I don’t like to go to the dentist so I stay away more than I probably should. Plus dental care is very expensive.. of all the times that I’ve gone to him I have never had any trouble and honestly he has gone above and beyond to help me. He is straightforward, but I do like that. It’s hard to believe that anybody would ever have any trouble or why give low review. I think that people typically not leave a review if they have a good experience and that’s unfortunate because it’s mostly people who have bad experiences take the time to leave a review. It then gives a low overall rating. . But it’s obvious he’s been in practice for many years and very well known in the community so must be doing something right.

I had 5 years of dental assisting experience before I became a stay at home mom (reason why I had to find new care, I no longer work at an office) and I only came here because he accepted my insurance and I wish I hadn’t ignored the bad reviews giving him benefit of the doubt. The fact that he couldn’t tell the different between the glue from my permanent retainer and my actual enamel is ridiculous. The way I was talked to and the comments about my insurance and how I won’t be able to afford a root canal because I’m on Medicaid was even more disgusting. I wouldn’t even let him work on a dog.

When I scheduled my first appointment, I clearly stated I wanted a dental cleaning only, since I had a recent appointment with another dentist and had full comprehensive x-rays. My insurance only pays for one set/year. When taken to the exam room, I was told I was having x-rays. I told the hygienist I didn't need x-rays; I was there for a cleaning. I told her I had a copy of recent x-rays I wanted him to look at for a second opinion, if possible. She left the room with no conversation, but I heard myself being discussed loudly down the hall. I heard the dentist say, "Then I won't see her!" Minarchek confronted me loudly in the hallway and told me if I didn't agree to x-rays, I was violating "standards of care." Apparently common courtesy, professionalism, and respect for patient privacy are not "standards of care" to him either. He is no gentleman! This could have be discussed with tact and privacy. This man is rude! Don't trust him with your dental health! Trust the reviews!!

I arrived expecting to be examined and told I would have to wait for insurance before I could have any procedures but after the doctor examined me he immediately got to work and with an almost military precision he began several procedures root canal and partial crown / filling on my #7 tooth which had broken and was embarrassing when I smiled. He was not warm and comforting but I immediately understood him to be an expert and very particular and couldn't be more grateful to him and his staff and would highly recommend his services

Just had a visit today (June 21, 2021) and am disgusted with the service. Had appointment at 10:30am, wasn't seen till 11:30am. Went back and Dr. Minarchek stated there was nothing he could do, not even do a simple cleaning. His manner was rude and would not allow the patient to speak about the visit or what the patient was there for today. I would not recommend him to anyone. If I could, I would rate his service as a 0-star or a negative 5 star

Quick and efficient. Staff including Doc was polite, caring and helpful. They went above and beyond for me. My only issue is the accessibility of the building itself.

He is a great dentist. Very matter of fact, brusk, which some people take as rude. He explains every step of his treatment plan. I really like him.

He is an awesome dentist! He is the only one I will ever let work on my mouth.

The worst dentist. I've ever been to. He would pay attention to every other patient. Seen 4 while I'm waiting to numb So when he starts working on it . Started it hurt. And he got mad at this. I recorded the last thing he said to me. Which resulted in me having to leave. Because he is the rudest most uncaring, unprofessional ever. Like I said I have recordings and I filed a complaint. To Molina insurance. He made me Burst in tears. I don't cry. There are plenty dentist. Pick anyone but him.

The practice got me in quickly. I work at sea and had a long time between damaging my tooth and getting in to get it fixed. It was pretty jacked up and he got it knocked out pretty quickly. 7 hours later, I am chewing without pain.

Dr. Minarchek and his staff are always friendly and welcoming. He has a funny, down to earth personality which makes our family comfortable going to him for our dental needs.
