Dr. Michael Littell, DDS

From the moment I got there until I left, I was completely clueless. My original treatment plan stated 6 cavity starts. Small stains on my lower teeth. They worked on 3 teeth. Charged twice for each tooth? Then asked for 82 dollars out of pocket for another tooth not covered. I said, no, just fix the ones covered. Dentist agreed to fix all small spots for nothing out of pocket. Never did really see what spots he was talking about. But he worked on the 3 teeth. I did not get to see the work before or after. Then got to the front desk, and they asked for 82 dollars. I explained what the dr said. They did not believe me. I waited for them to discuss with the dr. But instead, they kept changing the billing person, and they kept asking for the 82 dollars. I have been taking classes on how to breathe through such situations. I just kept smiling and reminding them, that I never signed off on the 82 dollars. The third billing lady said to me, you’re not going anywhere….

I had a spot between my natural tooth and crown that was jagged, ended up being my crown, but he kept shaving my natural tooth. Wanted me to point out where the spot was with my tongue and never pulled out one of his tools to find the spot. He ended up shaving lot of my natural tooth away then he finally pulled a tool out after I told him again it was in between my teeth. He pulled out this sandpaper floss and really hurt my gums. He told me he was frustrated, I left there bleeding and in tears. I do not recommend him.

Dr. Littell is absolutely fantastic. I use to have the white knuckle syndrome going to the dentist but not with Dr. Littell. He is very thorough and lets you know each step he is taking. Very patient and caring. Best dentist in Springfield. The staff is wonderful and very helpful also. He made a next day follow up call to see how I was doing since I had a long procedure done the day before. I have never had that done from any dentist I had previously gone to. I highly recommend Dr. Littell if you want exceptional dental work done

He explains in detail any of my questions. BUT I am still deciding if the extraction of two teeth with a bone graft was done well. I have more pain and swelling than I have ever had with any other dentist. Also there are some billing issues. The people are really nice and the treatment seems to be very good and thorough and up to date but I don't know yet.

I have never liked going to the dentist but I have a complete turn around due to this office. They are kind and wonderful to work with.

The best dentist I've experienced. I have had more dental work than I would like to admit. By far, Dr. Littell and his staff are the best I've ever had. This visit was a last minute visit for me, and they worked me into the schedule. I had recently moved to Memphis, TN and I am not interested in finding another dentist.

Everyone at Distinctive Dental was friendly and accommodating; also, willing to do what it takes to make the patient feel physically comfortable. Overall, a positive experience even though I felt some anxiety when I arrived.

Dr Littell is very personalable and professional. The whole office personnel were friendly and helpful. Probably the best dental experience I’ve ever had.

I am made very comfortable there. The time waiting on the Doc is a little long. But results are great. Brenna helped with the invisalign and she is amazing!! I highly recommend her, very caring and is very helpful..

Dr. Littell was phenomenal. Recently visited for a routine cleaning and examp, kudos to Stephanie RDH! Sat down with Dr. Littell and discussed a treatment plan for my wisdom teeth. They were perfectly fine and normal aside from a decay in each one; in doing so, I was given the option to either fill them or have them removed. I decided to have them removed. The prdoceedure was relatively smooth. Lots of knumbing. I truly couldn’t have asked for a less painful procedure. A+ Doc!
