Dr. Michael Kokolis, DDS

Your Astoria office is a disaster. If you really care about customer service you should shake that office and change the stuff or at least give them a warning. Look at the reviews see what customers are saying? Or you don't really care except for money. I had terrible experiences at your Astoria office.

This place was a living nightmare! The "stellar" google reviews must be fake. I've never been treated so unprofessionally. Not only did I have to wait hours for my appointments (this happened twice!), his overpriced "treatment plan" was inaccurate and caused me to have a serious infection. I feel sorry for the people who work here. I should have paid attention to the bad reviews on this place. Oh, and he's scamming the insurance companies. A shameless slob of a dentist.

Do not trust Dr. Kokolis with your dental care under any circumstances! He strolled into my appointment 40 minutes late wearing visibly dirty scrubs, and was incredibly rude to me. I ended up leaving without even getting my filling because I was so fed up with his disrespectful attitude.

I’m am sorry to say this dentist is a fraud I will give no stars as I went on an appointment he pulled my crown so hard that the tooth came out as well and glued it back on which caused me an infection and swelling and has the nerve to charge my dental insurance $2,450.00 which was denied. He only took one X-ray and I will never go back It took me three weeks to recover with antibiotics.

I would NEVER recommend this dentist even to my very worst enemy. He is the epitome of the most unethical dentist around. What you have put my son and my family through is disgusting. How you can keep money which was paid for services that were never rendered, is just disgusting! Just remember Dr. Kokolis karma because that is what will ultimately destroy you, if you don't do the right thing to the people that provide the lavish lifestyle you command. You are a despicable human being!

I cannot in good conscience recommend this dentist and feel that prospective patients need to be aware of the risks they will be exposed to should they decide to seek dental care here. I really like "Dr. Mike" personally, he is an affable enough guy, but the care I received from him was extremely lacking and has now left me seeking dental care elsewhere that is costing me thousands of dollars, including redoing work on teeth I already had done and spent thousands of dollars on at his office.
