Dr. Mehmet Uzel, DMD

Dr. Uzel performed tooth scaling and root planing on the left side of my face yesterday afternoon. He did it instead of the hygenist and would you believe no pain in my gums or teeth or anywhere afterward? I've researched this procedure on the internet like most people do from time to time, and it's the norm to experience sensitivity and pain with time to heal. I don't know what to say about those experiences but I'm impressed with mine. My first visit with him prior to this procedure, was informative and Dr. Usel never rushed our appointment. He explained the scaling and planing procedure and even sat me down to watch a video of what the procedure is, how and why. He performed the procedure and checked on me throughout making sure I had no pain and explaining the tooth or gum area issues he noticed. He's a very gentle and kind man and it carries it through his professional work. Going back again for the right side and no fears here.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Uzel. To start with he is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing but aside from that he has an excellent rapport and explains things carefully so you can make an informed decision. I highly recommend him. I really trust him.
