Beware: she tried to charge me over $700 for a routine first time cleaning, which she said was 'required' for several mandatory x-rays. This is not only counter to all other dentists I've seen, It's counter to the ADA, according to a New York Times (April 2017): ' Dentists should not rely on a blanket policy on X-rays for all patients, according to guidelines set out by the American Dental Association. Instead they are supposed to inspect each mouth for cavities or gum disease and then recommend specific X-rays for specific reasons.“It has to be personalized,” said Dr. Analia Veitz-Keenan, the director of evidence-based dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry. “It’s not one size fits all.”

All my visits to Dr. Khoo were pleasant. I feel I am in good hands with Dr. Khoo's understanding and dental skills. All the procedures Dr. Khoo has done were done perfectly in my opinion and the feeling of trust and honesty can not be measured.

Dr. Khoo is my dentist and I am highly impressed by her and her staff. Since I've been a patient of Dr. Khoo's, my daily brushing routine has forever changed. I now floss AND rinse with a mouthwash daily and nightly. When I see Dr. Khoo, I feel like I truly am inside a Manhattan dentists office. It is large, the equipment is brand new and the space is impeccable. I highly recommend Dr. Khoo and the offices of Dr. Mimi Lai.
