Dr. Mark Slivka, DDS

Dr. Slivka evaluated my symptoms and situations and provided me with solutions! I had been dealing with daily headaches and migraines requiring that I take over the counter medication (daily). Dr. Slivka recommended a retainer due to the grinding of my teeth while I sleep and mouth shape and this has helped tremendously! I haven’t had any headaches or migraines since wearing my retainer and no longer need to take medicine! Thank you, Dr. Slivka!!

Dr. Slivka is the best! He’s so nice and answers every question I have (which is always a lot!) Since we started my braces my teeth have moved so fast but the best part is I don’t grind my teeth at night anymore and I don’t have as many random headaches!! Definitely recommend!!

I had braces in High School and then Invisalign during college. Dr.Slivka was able to give me the smile that I dreamed of. Dr Slivka was able to realign my jaw, stop the jaw popping and fixing my headaches and ear ringing with the help of braces and and expander. My face structure just looks more alive and is more natural than ever. The vibes he has with patients and the office atmosphere is amazing, he is the only orthodontist that has finished my treatment and always with a smile on his face which gives hope. I’m si happy that Dr Slivka recommended and performed by frenectomy! My gag reflex before was so bad, even just brushing my tongue would be a problem. Since my frenectomy this is not an issue anymore. I also feel like can say words that were difficult for me in the past , but no longer. There is no way I would be able to withstand my palate expander without doing it.

Had bottom lower missing front teeth and Dr. Slivka was able to put braces not only on upper teeth but the lower teeth. Retainer had the missing teeth built into it. Love it love it. I feel like I have a new mouth without surgery. Not only a ortho but an Artist along with his craft. An make things happen.

After 5 months and 2 appointments my tinnitus, vertigo, nausea and migraines have all completely stopped (besides the occasional tension headaches... which, duh). So grateful I found Dr. Slivka and his team! Also, come prepared for fun facts, lots of laughs, and quicker than expected appointments. A dentist I finally look forward to seeing. I had braces and a palette expander in high school and my teeth shifted back. I developed jaw pain, crooked jaw, head aches, jaw popping and tinnitus in my left ear. Within 2-3 weeks of having braces on my symptoms went away and it was a noticeable relief. Wear your retainers

Since seeing the doc I have felt so much better. My tinnitus is completely gone, no more headaches, and my jaw locking and ear aches are gone. This is one my visit. So this has all happened in two months. On a side note he is the best. Great sense of humor and fun to his patient.

My daughter's palate expander was removed last month after which she started experiencing tooth sensitivity. I looked at her tooth and noticed two grooves on the inner side of the tooth. At the monthly appointment I raised the concern with Dr. Slivka who proceeded to "explain" the natural grooves of a tooth and asked if my daughter grinds her teeth. He explained using all dental terms, however, I pointed out that the nicks were on the side of the tooth which would not be caused by grinding. I reiterated that she started experiencing tooth sensitivity after the removal of the palate expander. He stated that his staff do not use instruments that would harm the tooth, and the the only thing stronger than enamel was diamond. He ordered an X-ray which I'm certain he'll charge my insurance for and is requesting a full dental exam for my daughter's next dental appointment; the dentist Dr. Osmun and Dr. Slivka are both at the same Gentle Dental location.

Only 1 month into treatment and I’ve experienced a decrease in headaches, tinnitus and neck/shoulder pain. I’m excited for continued improvement and a perfect smile!

My journey with my braces was amazing and time went by so fast. My doctors were very sweet, made me feel comfortable, and I enjoyed my time with them. I remember when we first started off with my braces we were at a different location, and we would listen to music and sing while I had my appointment. The helped me earn a beautiful smile that I will start showing off because of how straight they are.
