Dr. Phillips is very reassuring and took the time to explain the procedure. He has a solid team of people who made me feel secure and a part of the procedure.

Dr. Phillips was recommended when I found out I had an infection at the site of an old root canal. He did an excellent job redoing the tooth; no pain during or after and his caring manner helped make the visit less stressful. I can’t thank him & his staff enough!

Dr. Phillips is a gentle soul, very educated & caring of his patients. It took me a while to appreciate his thoroughness, but I would not hesitate to go to him again if I need to. Also, I would be happy to recommend him to others.

I've never had a more pleasant dental procedure in my 68 years. My root canal was pain free from start until after the novacain wore off. Dr. Phillips and staff were as pleasant as anyone could be. I highly recommend Great Lakes Endodontics to anyone needing a root canal. I'd give them a 10 star rating but they only allow 5.

Dr. Phillips and his staff are very professional. The procedure was explained before he started. He spoke to both my wife and I in the consultation and went over all of the options. While waiting in the waiting room, we could hear the receptionist talking with patients on the phone. They were friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about the patient on the line. The procedure was pain free and I am scheduled for another appointment and feel very confident.

Contacted the day after referral. Scheduled one week later. The staff is welcoming and kind. Dr. Phillips is very kind and gentle, explaining every step in the procedure. The root canal, one root, was completed less than 1 hour 30 minutes and was completely painless. Honestly! I would recommend Dr. Phillips to anyone who needs a root canal. Great experience!!

Kindness and gentleness

I've had several root canals in the past, this was the first time I felt nothing. Every other one I had done by the dentist warned me before he pulled out the root what to expect. I didn't know such an experience was possible, yah! I would not hesitate to go back there again for a root canal. Dr. Phillips is very pleasant as well as the staff, very reassuring, answers all your questions. You don't feel like they are in a hurry, they care about you, making sure all your concerns are addressed.

From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated kindly. The receptionist, the dental assistant, and Dr. Phillips treated us with the utmost respect . My 93 year old mother, who hated the procedure, said that she thought they did a wonderful job and the doctor was very nice. We would definitely recommend Dr. Phillips and his staff.

The experience at Great Lakes Endodontics was great from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and professional. They made sure you knew exactly what to expect and happily answered any questions. The treatment went very smooth and the doctor and assistant made sure you were as comfortable as possible. I would recommend them to anyone who needs this kind of procedure.

This procedure was done efficiently and with as little discomfort as possible. As it involved repair of a previously done root canal by another dentist, I was apprehensive about the procedure. It was done with great care and concern for my comfort level. It turned out great. Thank you so much to the caring staff and to Dr. Phillips D.D.S., M.S.

This was my very first root canal appointment. I initially had gone into my dentist and he had seen that my tooth was cracked and needed a root canal ASAP as it was getting infected. Great lakes Endo got me in within one week due to the severity of pain that I was getting in to. When I walked in, it felt like I had been there before, all of the ladies were so very nice to me and welcoming. I filled out my papers, took a seat and waited my turn. Now, I had done many root canals in my time (retired dental assistant) but never have I ever experience this procedure. Not going to lie; it was brutal BUT Dr Phillips and his assistant Luke was OUT OF THIS WORLD GREAT! They were an awesome team and Dr Phillips continued to ask me MULTIPLE times if I was doing ok. AFTER MY VISIT, I received 2 separate phone calls to check in on me. You don’t get that anymore these days so that was super amazing knowing the clinical staff CARE about US! Keep smiling, that sunshine is good for your teeth;)

Dr. Phillips was AMAZING, soooo very comforting during an uncomfortable time. Always making sure you are, telling you whats going on, the procedure was very smooth. His assistant was great to chat with while getting set up. I can't recommend Great Lake Endodontics enough.

Remarkable bedside manner and follow-up. Dr Phillips and his staff are incredible kind and caring, and while treatments (like root canals) often means treating people in pain, and that relief is not often felt immediately (even though better, just not healed or gone completely right away), the reassurance and confidence from the Great Lakes Endodontics team lets you know health will be restored soon, and it is. We had a referral for another office, but had prior experience with Great Lakes Endodontics and requested the referral for this office instead. Thanks for offering a great service in the Northland!
