Dr. Malterud was so understanding, patient, gentle, and helpful. He was very educated and checked and explained everything thoroughly. I left with no doubts or concerns. I feel so comfortable and confident under his care. I was so nervous arriving and yet I left feeling so at ease. I highly recommend and I love the minimally invasive approach. He saves people their teeth and money (by helping avoid procedures as much as possible). He is very honest and I would think able to make anyone feel comfortable no matter the circumstance.

Always inviting and nice staff. Liz is our FAVORITE hygienist! The doctors take time to know you and listen. Super safe measures taken to keep everyone safe too.

The best dentist I have ever had. Saves teeth from unnecessary procedures. So honest, I trust him completely. His list of experiences speaks for him, but he is humble man. I know he is one of the kind, if he could just copy himself in every state 100 times:, people's teeth health would increase tremendously!

Great service. Had my mercury fillings replaced. Very competent, sociable and honest.

Dr Mark was well prepared for my first visit and was very straight forward and easy to talk to. He confirmed my suspicions that the prior dentist l visited had recommended dental procedures that didn't need to be done. He had experience with and solutions for the work l agreed needed to be done. No pressure and all questions answered. The assistant and receptionist were very knowledgable and personable as well.

He is not very competant and if he doesn't like you he "fires" you as patient with no cause. Doesn't take insurance and does wacky practices that seem like unproved methods that he carjack up the prices for.

So many years, so many dentists--but I never before encountered a dentist with such a high level of knowledge, skill, and zeal in all manner of healing, protecting, and educating his dental patients. His goal is to preserve every bit of healthy tooth, even when procedures are required. His caring and energy to provide the best solution for each patient is also reflected in his excellent team and efficient organization. Dr. Malterud --the Smile-Saver!
