Maria Villar dentist on Almaden location insists on extracting healthy teeth and she is stubborn about this and rude .Also her staff is rude.

Just moved to San Jose had to make an urgent appointment for tooth pain. On my search I selected Spanish speaker and this office was the first to pop-up. Staff was friendly had long conversations making the visit more enjoyable comfortable and welcoming Maria Villar explained step by step what she was doing why she was doing it giving advice and suggestions she also gave me some dentistry lessons on why how and what happens to our teeth with time or habits I felt comfortable and well taken care of.

She was referred by the pediatrician due to their ability to use laughing gas on special needs patients who need to be sedated she examined my autistic adhd and ptsd child who went specifically to her because of her panic attacks and fear of the dentist. My daughter started crying due to her fear the dentist said in front of her that her tears were a manipulation and would not treat her. She was promptly informed that autism is not a manipulation. She refused to disclose the results of her x rays or the problems with her teeth. Of course she billed our insurance for the service. She got paid for a service she did not render and further traumatized an autistic child. This was traumatic and horrible. Furthermore don’t make any plans the day you have an appointment with her or take plenty to due you will have a 2 hour wait after your appointment time to be seen. Completely unbelievable
