Mac is a fantastic dentist. I'm not sure why the one star here had that experience because every encounter I have had with him and his office staff has been great. He listens to what you need, doesn't try to sell unnecessary procedures, and has taken care of my complex mouth for over 8 years. Yes, it's not a big fancy office with lots of superfluous staff, and yes, they are extremely competent and caring.

If my experience is any indication, trusting Dr. Jacobs is a danger to your oral health.
Dr. Jacobs will go and entire appointment without noticing anything wrong with your health. Only when you bring up a concern will he go back to check and realize that he missed something. I personally have been victim of Dr. Jacobs being silent on: Cavities, gum recessions, wear from grinding, etc.
