Dr. Luis Pagan, DMD

Dr Pagan is very rough and dismissive. I had a lot of dental trauma before him but he made it 100x worse. Save your money and go to someone who specializes in implants.

I had a bad experience with Dr. Pagon. He kept me waiting in the chair a hour and 40 minutes on my surgery day. I needed to have my gums opened for a deep surgical cleaning. I have had this same surgery three times before. Prior doctors always took time with numerous novocain shots that are required in the sides and roof of my mouth before the surgery. By taking time to inject the novocain it reduces the pain. Dr Pagone just shot the novocain in as fast as he could and I about shot out of the chair. He then started the surgery and I could feel pain. At one point I was kicking and screaming for him to stop. He did stop to tell me there was a portion of my mouth not numbing so he would have to inject the nerve. He did inject the nerve and I was force to endure another excruciating shot. The surgery outcome was satisfactory, however, the pain and arrogance this physician showed for patient comfort was not worth it. I would never recommend this individual.

He travels from office to office so it looks like he's clear and that's not the case. My experience was in Wilsonville. I DO NOT recommend Dr Pagan for a gum graft. He was dismissive with an attitude about pertinent questions pertaining to my gum grafts. Ironically, I did the procedure to be preemptive about root exposure and now I have exposure from the subpar surgery. I wish I had taken the initiative to search for a reputable periodontist.
